Total Hours for Week 21:  7


This week was the first week of Fall II classes and of the SRM 670 Sports Mentorship course.  The students that are enrolled in Dr. Tiell’s course for this term had to provide her with the website address to our e-portfolio by the end of the week.  I took some pictures during the workouts this week in order to make a photo gallery on my mentorship website, but they looked little bit blurry once I uploaded them to the computer so I may have to take some more another day. 

This week was similar to the rest of the weeks during the season.  I typed and printed the workout for the week and helped Coach Ison with the conditioning workout on Monday.  The athletes seem to be more tired this week than normal; you could tell that having a game every week without any bye-weeks has affected them.  I helped the athletes in the weight room and you could tell that the fact that I was in there taking pictures of them motivated them to give a little more effort.  It gave them a boost of confidence and pride and I thought that was good for them since they were feeling the effect of being late in the season.  I cleaned the weight room at the end of the week.  I helped Coach Ison with the warm-ups and stretches on Saturday.  We played Ohio Dominion University this week and lost.

 
Total Hours for Week 20:  7

This week we had an away game against Walsh University.  The game was going to be played at Hall of Fame Field in Canton, Ohio.  I helped Coach Ison with the conditioning workout on Monday and assisted him with the warm-ups and stretches during the week.  I typed and printed the weight training workout for the week.

I assisted the athletes with their weight training workouts during the week.  I helped spot the athletes during the lifts and told them how to correct their form to ensure they were doing the exercises correctly.  I cleaned the weight room at the end of the week and put the bands up for the next week.  I assisted Coach Ison with the warm-ups and stretches for the game on Saturday.  We lost against Walsh University this week.
 
Total Hours for Week 19:  7

We had an away game against Notre Dame College this week.  On Monday, I helped Coach Ison with the conditioning workout.  I typed and printed the weight training workout for the week.  During the week’s practices, I helped Coach Ison with the warm-ups and stretches.

This week was a typical week in the weight room.  I helped spot athletes during their weight training workouts.  I showed them the correct technique for exercises and instructed them what they needed to do in order to correct their form.  I cleaned the weight room at the end of the week and put the bands up for the next week.  On Saturday, I helped Coach Ison with the warm-ups and stretches.  We won the game against Notre Dame College.
 
Total Hours for Week 18:  7

This week we played an away game against the University of Findlay.  I helped Coach Ison with the conditioning workout on Monday.  I assisted him with the warm-ups and stretches during the week’s practices.  I typed and printed the weight training workout for the week.  Coach Ison checked to see how I was doing with my mentorship hours.

During the weight training workouts, I made sure the athletes were doing their exercises correctly and helped any that needed a spot or help correcting their form.  I made sure the athletes were doing their band workouts to strengthen their shoulders and stretch their upper body muscles.  I cleaned the weight room on Friday and put the bands up.  I assisted Coach Ison with the warm-ups and stretches on Saturday.  We lost against the University of Findlay.
